June 7, 2009 Sermon
"Love in Modern Times" is the theme of the sermons in the first three weeks of June. The basis for each message comes from the Old Testament book of Ruth. Each week's focus is as follows:
Sunday, June 7 - "Faithfulness Starts With Jesus"
Sunday - June 14 - "Dating and Courtship - picking a spouse"
Sunday - June 2 - "Happily Ever After"
This series will show how God's people have always had to "swim upstream" in cultures that have little regard for God's will in family life. Come and learn more about the source of real fidelity, family bonds, God's gift of sex used the right way and the blessings of Christian marriage and home life.
Read the book of Ruth in preparation for this series. Ruth is only four chapters in length.
