How do you stir the sleeping giant of the church? How is it possible to mobilize the 400,000+ members of our Wisconsin Lutheran Synod? What does the return of Jesus have to do with our daily life?
This Sunday's theme is: "Be Working When the Lord Returns." Read Mark 13:32-37

November 16th Sermon
I Thessalonians 4:13-18
As Christians we are comforted and encouraged by the fact that those who die in Christ will receive the reward that he won for them on the cross. We are consoled by the knowledge that we will see them again in heaven. A Christian will not despair as many in this world do. Yet, death is separation. A Christian will feel the loss. A Christian will miss his loved ones. A Christian will mourn and even cry. Did not Jesus when his friend Lazarus died? As Christians, however, we are comforted by the promises of our loving God. Paul assures us, "GOD'S CHILDREN NEVER DIE."

November 2nd Sermon
"Who wants to go to heaven if all they do there is sing?" Ever said that yourself or heard someone say it to you?
A large number of people will be singing in heaven. When Scripture tells us that, it's not stressing so much the singing but to whom and about what they will sing.
Check it out this Sunday as we study Revelation 7:9-17. We truly have SOMETHING TO SING ABOUT!

October 26th Sermon
The powerful story that Jesus told long ago has had a huge impact on its centuries of hearers. His parable in Matthew 25:14-30 even brought a new word into English. The word is "talent." In this parable Jesus shows us that our skills and talents today are trusts from a gracious God. Here is the question/theme we will ponder: "DID YOU KNOW YOUR TALENTS WILL BE AUDITED?"

March 2nd Sermon

What does all of this have to do with living for Jesus now? Find the answers in this Sunday's sermon. Read Romans 8:1-10

February 24th Sermon
Every Life For Christ - in Our Relationships This is the third message in "Every Life for Christ" Sunday series at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Read II Corinthians 5:14-16. Ask yourself these questions: How do I view people in my life? What motive is behind my relationships? How can I be equipped to deal with difficult people and give encouragement to people who seek it?

February 17th Sermon
This week's Sunday sermon is the second message in the series "Every Life for Christ." Last week's focus was on the fact that we live our lives for Christ "in our daily tasks." This week's focus is "Every Life for Christ - with our resources."
A generous, giving spirit is one of the characteristics of God's people. The message is based on II Corinthians 9:6-11. The truth God wants us to know and practice is God's people are richly blessed when they give. This is a concept that the world and our sinful nature doesn't understand. But it is a truth the new self celebrates.

What's your calling? Jesus said, Follow me and I will make you fishers of men." What does that mean to you personally? Should you quit your current job and become a missionary? Does your current job/responsiblity seem unimportant to you? Do you think of your responsibility in terms of a "calling?" Find the answers to these questions in this sermon. The message is based on Matthew 4:12-23. Read and think about these verses.

January 6th Sermon
Is your relationship with Jesus something that excites you? Does it thrill
you to see other people coming to Jesus? If you find that your interest in
Jesus is, at times, at low ebb, than this week's sermon is definitely for
you. Jesus is the "light" that scatters this world's darkness. Read Isaiah
60:1-6 to catch the excitement.
